I posted a WTB ad for a SteppIR item last week. The ad is still up. I got a reply from someone representing themselves as
KA1CAX. Everything about the series of emails smelled fishy. Today, I called KA1CAX and informed him of the scam using his
call sign. He told me that this was the 2nd time this has happened to him. Be careful people!!!!

Same issue happened to me.

I was WTB a Henry 2KD-5 and was contacted by someone representing themselves as KA1CAX. Further correspondence seemed flakey. He would not answer any of my requests for technical data on the product. He provided no phone and would not do PAYPAL.

I terminated further correspondence with him after some research.
