Why???

I understand if the seller is paying the shipping. Or at least I understand if they want extra to ship to AK or HI...

Can anyone explain a valid reason for this???

I don't believe anybody has a problem if the buyer pays the freight. However, If I am paying the freight I will ship it to any US possession if it will fit in a USPS Flat-rate box. If the item is too large and I have to use FEDEX or UPS, I am not willing to pay the higher shipping to anywhere but the lower 48.

I have had KL&s and KH6s think that I can ship a 40LB radio to them for the same price that it would cost me to ship to California and that is simply not true.

Because they are naive Marty.

They don't know about a USPS Flat Rate Box. Best deal around!

I've shipped plate transformers in a flat rate box. Bolt them to a piece of wood or make a wood crate that fits inside of the flat rate box. Works perfectly!

73 (73 is ALWAYS singular)!

I had to bring this up because some people have a short memory.
