well hello all agian . I did not think this site was just for guys or ladies that was generals . I did not think it was a crime to put a add on here looking for a hr rig. im a tech looking to upgrade to a general so i posted a add on here looking for a cheap used hf rig and i got a email from a Vaughn willy worth call letters are k3vw that told me pretty much that not to put a add on here till im serious about becoming a general well if this web site is for generals only im sorry i will stay away thanks all have a great day and god bless u all 73s kb3sjn tim

I see two problems here - the first, should members really be harrassing tech who want an hf rig? There's not much of a better incentive to upgrade than to be able to listen and not talk until the upgrade - anyone can listen, even non hams listen on recievers - just odd for someone to take the time to email and try to discourage them...
The second, comments being in ads! Seems more and more, people who feel they have to speak up need to use the forum, not ads section! That is what it is here for, right?

Yep, you're right, but I don't think a lot of the new guys even know this section exists.

Removed...
This situation was settled almost as soon as it happened and the ad was removed. Put another way, this is a non-issue.
