Why is crap like this being allowed? http://swap.qth.com/view_ad.php?counter=1176794 they are splatter boxes, horrible IMD and should never be sold for use on the ham bands.

I was wondering the same thing. Just like Ebay, you call it 10 meter and no one will pull it.
