Shortwave receiver

I am wanting to purchase a shortwave receiver that does not work. I like these old projects preferably the tube types but solid state will work. I saw a couple in the adds here but they were posted a couple months ago. Do they leave the adds even after something sells. I have not had much luck getting response. I was just wondering, maybe I am not being patient enough. If anyone else has an old broken one sitting around that the would like to sell please let me know. 73
