Equipment that is advertised incorrectly....

When you ask about the condition of a radio, you at least expect that person can tell the difference between NEW and USED. When you ask a person about has the radio been around a smoker, you expect that a normal person would be able to answer that question also. Some folks are not telling the truth about what they are selling. What is a mother to do?? I enjoy trading and selling equipment on QTH.COM, but we need to be very careful about who we are dealing with. Does anyone have some ideas about protecting the buyer? Thanks, Bob

Or, the individuals that damage your item, and claim you misrepresented it....a common scam I have seen. Rather than tell the truth, they try and put it back on the Seller.....
