Icom 275H

Post by KB4QQJ »

I have an IC-275 H in excellent condition. It's 100 watts 2 meter, all mode with FM board factory installed. Original owner, non-smoking environment very clean rig. No cw filter. I can only find the ebay thing to set a price and it has such a wide spread I wouldn't want to guess. My first asking price was going to be $400 but after seeing this http://www.aade.com/hampedia/prices2.htm
I'm not quite sure. My goal is to sell/trade for a Yaesu 847/857d type rig. Or any easily portable rig with 6 meters. I'm 99% CW QRP and portable.
Any help would be appreciated.

I am pretty sure $400 would be on the low side. I think I remember that one going for near 1K. It seems to me that most of them sell for the $500-700 range. I have seen guys wanting to buy them. If it were me I would start at about $650. You cam always go down if you need to. that being said if you do decide to sell it for $400, put me at the top of your list.

The link you provided was last updated in 2000 according to the date. I don't think $400 is extremely low and should be about right.

Thanks Al and Doug,
It seems the "boneyard" page thinks they are averaging $875. In any case I've listed it for trade on a couple of sites. Thanks for the help and if I decide to sell instead of trade Al, I'll put you at the top of the $400 list! All I want is an 857 or 897 to take portable.
