Kenwood TS520

Post by VE3TMT »

I have a Kenwood TS520 with 500 Hz CW filter and DC convertor, full output and receives fantastic. Covers, faceplate and knobs were all removed and washed. All lights and LEDs work as they should. Side door with rivets intact. Aside from a few small rub marks on the silver front trim, this 520 looks like it just came out of the box. Just wondering what something like this would go for.

Thanks,
Max

Recent sales (eBay and QTH) have been in the range of $160 (low, avg condition) to just over $300. Items listed as excellent have gone from $172 to $295.

TIP: The filter will not add much to the sale in most cases. Removing it will probably not hurt the selling price and it will bring $60 - $75 on its own.
