Kenwood TR-751?

Post by w9ht »

I have a Kenwood TR-751 2m all mode with the optional voice module (to announce VFO frequency) and PL tone board. The radio is in good working and cosmetic shape. It also has the stock DTMF microphone and owners manual. Does anyone know the market value of the radio? Thanks & 73! Josh W9HT

A million dollars

I bought this rig, less CTCSS board last year for $125.
Original packaging, near showroom looks, cadillac performance for a low power rig.
Always get complements on audio.
Local hams priced it at $125 to $160, depending on what the traffic would bear.

I recently bought one, think it was Josh's. He sold it to me for $250 I think, as the voice module is worth at least $75 and I am very pleased with the deal, P.S.Josh, you forgot to sned me the power cord, if you wou;ld send it I would certainly appreciate it, otherwise I am happy with the rig, If he offered another piece of gear, I would deal with him, he is a good guy to deal with:) I just need the PL board, and this rig has gotten compliments as far as signal quality and audio reports, with the stock mic:) Michelle,WW7F
