AN/PRN-3 Direction Finder Info Needed

Hi, I have been trying to find information on my small hand held direction finder, AN/PRN-3 and can find nothing on the web. Serial number is 16 (doesn't show up on my photo) so possibly very few were made. Manufacturer was I.D.E.A, Inc. There is a Signal Corp order number stamped on the radio and I think the radio is Korean War vintage. I would appreciate any information on this or does anyone know of a site on the internet where I could get help. Three photos attached. Thanks very much.
