Selling to a ham with an expried license?

Post by wm3m »

I got a request to buy an item I posted on QTH from a ham with a long expired ham ticket. His name and address are in the FCC database from the old call. The item is a mic and not really just for ham use? It is ok to go ahead with the sale? thanks.. 73

I can think of no reason why it should not be sold to him or any one. It is not a transmitter just a microphone what they do with it is up to them and them only.

It is perfectly legal to sell any Amateur Radio equipment to anybody regardless of license.
Of course it is OK
