Here is the the response to my QTH ad:

Name: Dennis Wincup
Callsign: G1EYY
E-mail: denniswincup@gmail.com

The response is:

Hello friend,

I am Dennis Whincup writing from England...I saw your wanted advert and i really want to know if you are still interested, because i have it in a very good condition..Let me know thanks

Here is the real Dennis G1EYYresponse from the UK.

Hi Rob,
The mail you received was from a scammer and you are the third person today that has contacted me about a suspicious email.
You appear you have also sent a copy of this mail via Cc to him so he knows that you are onto him.
I'm glad that you had the sense to check me out on QRZ.
Just about to get in touch with gmail and see if there is anything they can do.
There is a lot of G station here having the same problem with highjacked call signs.
Anyway thanks for letting me know

Regards
Den ...... G1EYY in Hull UK

If you receive an email from anyone, wanting to Buy or Trade on QTH or other web sites, just look up the call sign on QRZ and verify the email address by sending the contact a quick note, to see if the offer is for real!
Poor English and ridiculous prices should also be a TIP, that the offer is a SCAM.
