Hello all,

UPS delivered the package from Jay yesterday. The radio I purchased from him was as described and appears to function as it was designed. Jay is an honest seller and he ships quickly. I am generally pleased with the deal

HOWEVER!!!!!

His packing skills are severely lacking!

1. (This the Good) He packaged the radio in the original box then included this box inside a second box.

2. (This the Bad) There was not enough packing inside the box as the radio box was able to move at least 4 inches from end to end and 2 inches side to side. It is a miracle it made it from Texas to Georgia without damage.

I would probably buy from him again BUT would INSIST he package the product better.

IT SEEMS TO BE THE GUYS YOU TRY TO HELP OUT THAT ALWAYS COME BACK TO BITE YOU !!!!

He did not have all the money, so I held the radio until ALLOWED HIM to make two payments that totaled my asking price. I had many other people wanting the radio, but for some reason, I thought I'd be nice and help a fellow Ham out.

The radio was boxed in its original box, with the inserts in place and wrapped in the original packing. That box was put inside of another box.

HE MADE NO ATTEMPT TO CONTACT ME TO DISCUSS HIS PROBLEM !!!

As he stated, the radio arrived in 100% operation, no problems and no DAMAGE!!

HE WILL HAVE NO FUTURE PROBLEMS WITH ME BECAUSE WE WILL NOT BE DOING BUSINESS AGAIN !!!!

BEWARE OF THE WHINNER !!!

Sorry for the venting but it burns me up when you try to help anf you get burned.
