W2BRW - disappointing

Post by n8bhl »

Mr. Watson posted an ad for a dual band radio, "Selling or possible trade". He described the radio, and included a sale price. I emailed, offering the asking price and payment of shipping in addition. In return email, Mr. Watson stated he was really looking for a scanner. I don't know why he decided not to sell, but it was a disappointment. He should have withdrawn the ad, or kept his word to sell.

You're not out any money. There was no fraud involved. Just a person who decided that he would rather swap instead of sell. And for this you post a "warning"?

I honestly think you should ask Scott to remove this thread as you haven't been hurt in the least. Just "disappointed".

Sheesh.
