John, W3JJI had an ad posted looking for fixer-upper Dentron amplifiers and I had a non-working MLA-1200 that served me well for 20 years, but I have too many amps and no time to rebuild the PS for the third time so I answered the ad. We agreed on a price and I promised to ship when I could. John maintained very good communication and was understanding when other priorities caused me to take three weeks to get the amp packed and shipped. In exchange for the delay, I covered the shipping and shipped prior to payment (call me stupid if you want, but I tend to trust when I think I can).
The amp and power supply arrived safely, John was very happy with the packing of both boxes and sent payment immediately the next day on 5/2, arriving today 5/4. If you are thinking of doing business with John, DON't HESITATE. And if it's my MLA-1200 - I'm sure he'll do a great job, and be good to it, it was very good to me for a long, long time.
