having sealt with this person, A.K.A Lina Gusit-Matera, on an amplifier deal I have been stiffed.
I have since purchased an amp from another, reputable person on this system. (Both were Kenwood TL-922 amps)
I am in the process of pursuing recovery efforts from "L. Gusit" who did not have a call sign, apparently doesn't live at the address he gave to send the money to.
Yes, I feel really stupid, but fortunately, I will be able to recover this - at least the NYPD thinks I'll be able to.
So, watch out for this guy - again, it was and ad for an amplifier "from an estate" ... without a call sign
My policy now is to only purchase from hams - people that place their call sign in the ad, and I can verify the call sign on QRZ.
