Perfect transaction with Ray NR1R

Post by KC0GAN »

I purchased a used FTDX-101MP from Ray and it was the best experience I could ever hope for. Communication was immediate, clear and friendly. Things were even better than described.

He gave me the option of resetting the menus or not. The radio & ps/spkr, appeared virtually new. All the original accssories and connectors, manual, even the map and Yaesu stickers were present. He included for free a nice homebrew choke made from an IEC AC extension cable and a good sized quality ferrite.

He had even preserved the original factory box and also the outer shell box, and had taken great care of those too, and did a fabulous job resealing them. He must have gone to Fedex immediately upon receiving my certified check. Really I am impressed. Also extremely happy with the radio.

Though the MP in FTDX101MP could stand for "major purchase" Ray's very good price put this radio within my reach. Even before buying, I saw photos of Ray's antennas and I thought to myself, anyone who has and maintains antennas like that, surely takes good care of his radios.

I had a wonderful dealing with Ray, it could not have been better, and I would highly recommend Ray NR1R based on this experience.
