I recently bought a Henry 2002A 2m amp from W4VOC. Agreed upon terms were that the amp was in excellent condition and that it would be wrapped boxed and shipped with UPS with insurance and tracking. The only thing that was accurate was that it had a tracking number and was shipped by UPS. There was no professional packing no insurance. The amp was far less than in excellent condition and as received was not considered to be a working amp. The output tune linkage was not even engaged and had to be completely disassembled, repaired and reinstalled as well as the fan cage being attached by only one screw. There were many other things that added up to catastrophic failure if I had just taken it out of the box and plugged it in without visual inspection. Those things were not even the worst of the deal. Doug was a great communicator before he had my money. After the deal I can't get an answer from him on anything not even to tell me tough luck. BUYER BEWARE if you can't pick something up from this guy and inspect it before you pay don't do it.
