BUYING TUBES FROM RUSSIA

Post by w5rg »

I was in need of three GU74B tubes so I looked on QTH first not wanting to buy from E-bay and I found a sell here on QTH. I bought three GU74B tubes and wanted them matched and paid extra to have this done. After I had burn them in for 24 hours each I plugging in all three tubes and fuses blow,so I plugged in one tube at a time to see which tube had caused the problem..Sure enough one of the tubes was bad..I sent the seller a e-mail and no reply!! So..I will never again buy anything from Russia...Be careful if you do..Russia is a long way from the USA..I will never see my money or a tube!!
