Jim Stephens, NX8Z, recently sold me an immaculate FT-897D. From beginning to end, he was a pleasure to deal with: he was clear on what he was selling and the cost, answered questions quickly, and was not offended by my wish to do diligence before making a deal. He shipped the rig within twenty-four of receiving payment, boxed it carefully, included a packing list and followed up when Fedex didn't get the delivery quite right. The equipment was in better-than-promised condition in every way.

People like Jim are what drew me back into amateur radio. I'd be on the other side of a deal with him anytime.
