W1TC Tom Chase

Post by w2hp »

I recently listed a rotor for sale here on QTH. Tom replied and we struck a deal. I shipped my rotor to him and he asked me if I was interested in some rotor pieces. My reply was sure! Well without any fanfare, Tom shipped the rotor pieces to me without any negotiating of any kind. Wow, what a surprise, the items came in and I was delighted to have received them so quick. Well I detailed what Tom sent to me and sent a Paypal to him for the postage and pieces. Tom returned part of the payment as "I didn't want this much for the items!" My delight and surprise is meeting such a nice person for a mutually happy transaction. I now have put into words so all can see how Tom, W1TC trades with others. Way to go! Pete W2HP

I was fortunate to purchase a Ham-4 Rotor from Pete, W2HP, for less than half the price of a new rotor. His repair/refurb of ham-x rotors provides a real service to the amateur community.
I sent him all the broken controllers and rotor parts in my basement; hoping they would be worth the cost of postage ($40) to him. I was surprised at how much he reimbursed me, and returned
some of that money. Check out Pete's BIO on qrz.com; if you can't trust Pete to be fair and honest, you have trust issues! I recommend you all take inventory of your broken or unwanted ham-x rotors and see if he can use them; get those classic rotors back in service! Thanks Pete, 73 Tom W1TC
