Anyone have shipping issue with KA6COP using UPS tracking, but UPS does not have item and seller states 'does not know what to do'.

People search shows George R Seaman in LA as deceased. Three listings total with two listings that match on people search shows same relatives. This does not look good.

Caution, ka6cop call has been hijacked by some jerk. Sells items with copied previous description and stolen picture then applies for shipping label but UPS never gets the package.
Also this same person is using call ke6pb, same method and story. This scammer has also hijacked both legit emails as shown on QRZ.

When I asked that he send me photos of the gear with his callsign in the photo he got indignant with me, told me he wouldn't unpack the rig and send another photo to me...He also said I was a jerk because I question the sell price of the gear he had for sale...

Thanks to PayPal my money has been recovered. Never use PayPal option to send money to Friends/Family unless you have complete trust in the seller. This option does not use any fees and therefore you will not have the backing to recover your payment.

Hi everyone. I bought an Icom 551D from "George, KA6COP". Unfortunately, I wasn't the only one to buy this radio. He sold it numerous times. Luckily, I paid with PayPal and have filed a claim. This used to be fun, but is getting frustrating. Now, I call the person that is selling something that I am interested in.
Thanks,
Joe

KA6COP........Looks like he's still pulling the same scam, one hates to admit it but, I'm his latest victim, He ran an ad for a KENWOOD TS-790A for $450. Remember guys what I've been told before,IF IT SOUNDS TOO GOOD TO BE TRUE, it probably is. He got me,hopfully Pay-Pal will return my money.Look out for him,he's still pulling the same SCAM.

Got me too, really had me going for a while. Played the older ham/elmer bit to the hilt and I fell for it. Had a couple of phone conversations and several e-mails. Same deal, provided a tracking number that would never be active, saying that it was on its way just never scanned by the UPS store. I did use Paypal and did get my money back. How many times can he do this before Paypal does some kind of legal action, or at least remove his account??? The account used was S Tech Services, and he said that it was his son's account and he was a partner. Paypal has saved me 3 times in the past 10 years. You'll never hear me complain about their fees.
