I have gotten many messages from different people with the same from line on it "Curt Nixon KU8L". Then down in the body of the message "The response is from:"
It is my understanding that by FCC ruling (but I can't find the ruling anyware). No one but the licensed holder of the call sign can use the call letters on the internet for a user name, or in an email address. 1. I need to know if I am correct on this. And 2. What I can do about it . There has been a few times in IRC chat channels that jurk's have grabbed my call out of spite and used it for them self's on that IRC server and the owner IRC server equipment won't do a darn thing about it. This really irks me. Despite my learning disabilities back in the 1980's when there was no handicap wavers for the morse code or the written test I passed my novice test and got my 1st license. I barely squeaked by on the code test but the important thing is I passed.
