Terry Johnson had a pair of radios for sale. He had the dual head Kenwood radio and a Motorola HT100 for sale. Both for $300 plus shipping. Sent him a money order for $315. Got a package in the mail and was damaged and had a sticker from post office about that. Opened package and only the Kenwood was there. Contacted Terry who claimed I only wanted the Kenwood. When I said why would I pay your asking price for both radios and only want the one he said that all you said you wanted. In my email I said I was more interested in the Kenwood and he said in our phone call I never said I wanted the Motorola. Again why would I pay full price for one? To top it off the Kenwood doesn't work. Might have been damaged in shipping I can't say for sure but when I spoke to the a post office employee I was told if the radio was damaged in shipment Terry would get a check for the damaged radio because it was insured. Well I decided if he is not going to send me both radios I paid for why would he send me my money back. Decided to keep the Kenwood and maybe I can find somebody to fix it and not be out as much as I could be. Cutting my lose is the best I can get out of this deal and I hope nobody else got the HT1000 I paid for.

Remember not to deal with Terry Johnson KB5NFL

I agree since it has been posted by the buyer why not your version told here. My question to you is simple why would you take what was the price for both radios if you only intended to send the one.

Paying a two radio price for one radio doesn't make since. I don't know the buyer, but i find it hard to believe anyone with enough brainmatter to pass a exam to get a ham ticket would pay that for one rig when it was advertised for two at that price. So thats a hard story to sell most of us that buy and sell on this site.

Question...

He had the dual head Kenwood radio and a Motorola HT100 for sale. Both for $300 plus shipping.
What does this mean? Two radios for $300, each or Two radios for a total price of $300?

It does not seem to be totally clear. The seller seems to believe it is $300 each and the buyer seem to think it is $300 for both radios.
