K5YY - An A-1 Ham

Post by KB3H »

I've had the opportunity of purchasing a Drake R-7a from San. The radio was exactly as described - pristine, and mint. He went out of his way to triple box the unit, and he included all materials - new manual and Drake shipping box. He was kind enough to hold the radio for almost a year, and was willing to have me come by to pick up the radio in person.

San represents the very best in amateur radio - an accomplished Operator, and a first-class gentleman. It will be a privilege to be the caretaker of this classic American radio

Thanks for nice compliment John! I love for nice equipment to get into proper homes. Thanks for being patient and respecting that I wanted the R7A to get there in proper fashion.
