I recently traded with Danny W4PIG on a deal where I swapped my AL-80A amp, plus cash, to Danny for an AL-1200 down at Huntsville.
The AL-1200 I got from Danny was in good shape, and makes legal output + on 75 meters. I haven't had a chance to check it on other bands, but everything Danny told me has panned-out so far, so I'm confident the AL-1200 will do legal limit on the other bands as he told me. (That extra power sure came in handy this weekend for my shifts as NCS on the Tar Heel Emergency Net (NC ARES HF Net) during the Net's activation for the Hurricane Irene emergency.)
So I would trade again with confidence with Danny W4PIG.
