W3PA - Imposter

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

W3PA - Imposter

Post by K9KJ »

This person was trying to buy a radio from me and wanted to do something odd with a cashiers check. I checked QRZ for W3PA and reached out to THAT email address, and they said it was for sure a scam. These guys are getting good. They even used the Ham's full name as a mail-from and an email signature.
