beware not WA2VOI

Post by AA2UK »

Someone pretending to be Donn Baker WA2VOI responded to my WTB ad for a pair of ICOM SP-38 speakers.
We agreed on an amount the money was sent via regular (not F&F) PayPal. It's going on 2 weeks and my emails go unanswered. I'm out $210.00. I should have known better.
What is my recourse, if any?

PayPal -- complete failure to deliver.

If you run PayPal through your credit card, file a billing error notice with the card issuer: the seller failed to deliver the goods.
