Post by wz5q » Tue Oct 31, 2017 11:13 am

There is a scammer responding to my want adds using the call of KA4HBQ , Frank Bale at email frankka4hbq at outlook.com. The real A4HBQ does not have an email listed on QRZ or I would have warned him.

The true owner of the KA4HBQ call (Frank) is 89 years old. I was just approached by the scumbag (trying to sell me a part I am looking for) posing as Frank. What a loser....

I just had a scammer using KA4HBQ trying to sell a part to me I listed. He used the name Frank but looking at the information here it appears to be a scammer.

Thanks for the info -- I have blocked this guy.

Reminder: If you suspect a scammer, please contact me. My email is linked at the bottom of every page on the Classifieds. I'd appreciate a forward of the email, so I can get the wording, email and IP address.
