Beware: James Watson

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Beware: James Watson

Post by w0bkr »

Received an Email from a "James Watson", no callsign, offering to purchase something. When asked where he was located, gave some bogus info about Illinois, etc. Anyway, way to many red flags about someone will come by to pick an items up once payment is sent, blah blah blah. No callsign, no sale, no tangible info you are real, no sale.
