For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Does anyone know how to contact the REAL W9YVI as I just had someone posing as him try and run a scam on me. Asked for Pictures with his Call sign next to My Icom 7410 that I am selling here. I took the picture with a N5OU QSL card and printed on it "is going to sell W9YVI" and sent it to him along with a note that I would only ship to the QRZ Address. Never heard back. His email is W9YVIwilliam@gmail.com.
