A scammer?

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

A scammer?

I wonder if anyone knows Vitaly, AB6VD.
He has a post offering a vacuum capacitor. See Listing #1263304.

On May22 I sent him an email through QTH.com expressing my interest.
I became suspicious of a scam after checking his callsign in QRZ.com and finding that no email address is included there (now it is...) and that his license is about to expire.
I sent him an email explaining my concern. Then I asked for pictures including a local newspaper of the day... No pictures were sent to me.
He then asked me to "respond" via e-QSL. As I didn't, he calls me "Jerky"...
I wonder if he is a "real" ham...

Anyway, I lost interest in his offering...
