For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

Has postings on Eham ... emailed me responding to my WTB ad yesterday with a rediculously low price on an HF-Auto Tuner ... asked for his telephone number ... tried several times ... he never answered ... uses the email address of danieljn1nic@gmail.com and the name of Daniel J Model ... SCAMMER!

You think there may be a chance that someone is using his name and call? I do! Did you try to look up his phone number?

Yes I did ... the real N1NIC contacted me and confirmed it wasn't him. In addition the real N1NIC posted here too.
