KB4J's call highjacked

For reports of scammers using other people's callsigns. Remember that any callsigns listed in this forum are likely innocent bystanders (subjects of identity theft) and, thus, are probably not guilty of anything. For bad transactions with verified ham operators, use the Feedback Forum instead.

KB4J's call highjacked

KB4J's call was obviously high jacked. Scammer used this callsign to list an IC-9500 on Eham, with the IP from the UK, the description from Ebay and the pics of some much lesser gear (not even the item posted). Be sure to check every bit of info when reviewing a posting and look up the IP address, the pics origination, etc. GL and be careful. Eham moderator took down the posting (thanks).
