Also, I have dealt with Joe personally. He is a stand up guy, my deal went through with no problems.

Re: VE3ABH, Joe Csikos, Port Colborne, Canada
As for buying from outside the USA.....NOT ME !! NO WAY !! I also DON"T SELL OUTSIDE THE USA !! Too much paperwork and most buyers/sellers try to get you to lie on the custom forms, so they can save a buck. They save and you get bagged !! Too much paperwork? Please explain. I sell to hams in the US...

Direct bury coax suggestions??
I have intentions to build a 150' vertical delta loop this spring. The antenna's apex will be up in a maple tree in my backyard at about 60', with the ends going to each corner of my yard about 15' above ground. I am going to feed it with coax through a 4:1 balun. My plan is to run the coax out the ...

New Yahoo digital modes group
Yeah I know, just what we need another RTTY group on Yahoo. Well I really enjoy RTTY and was a member of the MMTTY group until recently when discussions over the presidential election began to make their way onto the forum. I voiced my concerns and was told by the moderator that if I don't like it, ...

I too really had to bite my tongue to refrain from jumping in. Murray...you showed your true ignorance and stupidity by the comments you made regarding Canada. Have some of you never heard of a spell checker?
Please guys, some of it is just down right ridiculous. I won't mention ads or call signs but reading through some of the ads is quite comical. A 3rd grader would probably make fewer mistakes. Perhaps you just don't know any better or don't care, but you should. I personally do not buyer from sellers...

What we need is government regulation
I agree with James. Many of my purchases coming from US amateurs have resulted in me paying an amount much larger than expected. This however has nothing to do with the original transaction. For example, if I have a small package coming in from the USA, I always request it to be sent through the mai...

Hi Bill, Great idea! I have never owned an amplifier in my life. I do yearn for a mid power solid state amp in the 400-600W range for a little help in the RTTY contests. 120V operation would be nice, and the simpler the better, to keep costs down. I don't need to buy an amp but if the price was righ...

I sure do fault this guy, I had to drive to the PO because it was Canada and the online postage did not work correctly. Not once have I ever had to drive to the post office to get a quote, regardless of whether I was shipping in Canada, to the US or overseas. And if it didn't work I would always tr...

Re: Woody is OK...
[quote="K4ICL"]I have had some dealings with Woody and you need to realize that he is 87 years old and still in the hobby. His eyesight is failing and, perhaps his sense of humor leaves him and he is bit cranky at times.

Re: VE7CQE commits fraud again
Since my initial post concerning Charles Parent Quinn, a Canadian ham radio operator, I have been contacted by TWO ADDITIONAL victims. Both people have been scammed by VE7CQE, one for about $2,000 and the most recent for $6,000. Both of these have paid for computer equipment which they have never r...
