Phil, I guess I have to admit that your right. So why stop at the hole saw or what you have in your tool box. Why not list cars and trucks for sale? We need them to drive to the amateur radio store and ham fests. How about tables and chairs, tables to put our radios on and chairs to sit on while we ...

Did you tell him that you are sending the money? If you did then he pulled the ad because he has it sold to you. I would think something is wrong if the ad remained here after he got your money.

KS4OT bad posting

KS4OT just because you received an e-mail using bad language does not give you the right to post what they said to you and your responce , also bad language, on the swap section where everyone, male and female, young and old can see. So you got something you didn't like, well I think your just as ba...

Isn't this an Amateur radio site?

Well I have gone long enough without saying something but after looking at today's postings I must speak my peace. I have felt for a long time that this site was the best on the internet for selling radio equipment, its free, no club to have to be a member of, no special pass words and so on. But af...

K5MDM, Murray, Good person to deal with.

I know it has been posted here before but I just want to add that Murray (K5MDM) is an honest person to buy from or trade with. He packaged the item very good, good communications by e-mail with me and told the truth about the item with no hidden problems. I would deal with him again without any wor...

Speaking of asking if the photo is of the item for sale or trade. I have seen several listings where the attached photo was from the RigPix web site. As for me that doesn't do any good, I know what the item looks like, I want to see a photo of what I mite buy looks like. I e-mailed a guy once and as...

I would not write this off! Your post says that a UPS store packed and shipped it. I would go after them with a small claims court action.
I was told by UPS that if their people pack it and it is damaged they pay for it if you insured it.

N3JTN (Larry) a great person

Larry (N3JTN) and I just completed a trade and he is a man of his word. He shipped the item out fast, packaged it very good and it was as good as he said it was. He also followed up with e-mails asking how I liked it. He also supplied me with proof of shipping it. I would be happy to deal with Larry...

Posting pictures with ad

Several times I have seen postings saying that they could not put a picture with the ad because it was too large to upload. I had the same problem until I received a tip on how to do it. Stand back about 3 to 4 feet from the item you want to take a picture of and snap the photo. When you transfer it...

Help about Kenwood TS-940S

I have a Kenwood TS-940S that lost its receive on the amateur bands only. The receive is still working on general coverage but not the amateur bands. It is transmitting fine, full 100 watts but no receive. I have gone over everything on the radio and all controls are where they should be. I was not ...

I sat here and read your post a few times and I have a question about this trading. The way I understand this is, you traded an Icom dual band HT to Carl and he sent you an Icom IC-260 which you traded to Dale for an Alinco radio. When Dale received the 260 he checked it out and found that the radio...

OK I get it now, sorry I'm wrong. I know a guy that bought a '56 Chevy five years ago for $1000. He completely restored it to original, looks like it just came off the line. He has it for sale for $15,000 oh boy, thats more then it was in 1956, I better tell him he will not get that. My father bough...

All I can say is, if you don't like the price, don't buy it! Not everything in this world is going to be priced at what you will pay. I do know that there is equipment that is no longer made that is in high demand and people will pay a price that is more then when it was new. I see things all the ti...

What do you think is "mint" ?

I have seen many times something listed for sale as being "mint". I have also seen listings on the feed back forum where someone had a deal go bad because the seller said it was "mint condition" and the buyer said it was not. Now to me the word mint means like right from the manufacturer, almost unu...

First off I want to say that I am not against CW, I had to learn it to go from Tech to general. Why are so many people putting a lable on "everyone" that will come into the amateur bands ...

This just can't be happening to me.
