Roger, W9RGY, bought my TR7 line, including an R7, that I did not want to ship, since excellent condition. He agreed to meet me part way, driving 5 hours to do so. Timely payment send Priority mail before we met. Excellent communications. Do not worry about things with this nice ham.

Adam Farber
Another easy deal with Adam Farber, his funds crossing in the mail with my package sent to him earlier. Whether small or large items, that's the way we do it for few years now. No issues.

Drake R7A serial numbers
I would like to find out how close to the end of production my R7A Drake receiver is, #3641. I am told it was purchased in late 1982. I have only found 3 other R7A serial numbers and they are in the early 3000 range. I think this may be one of the last ones off the line, if not the last. So, if ther...

I have the King Conversion SB220 amp and bought it from a ham who had Lou do the conversion last year. There were some issues, not Lou's fault, like the soft start board coming unglued and shorting out against the bottom of cabinet. Took out a resistor, blew fuses and even had a bleeder resistor dev...

W5TMO Mike - pleasure to deal with
Bought an ANC-4 unit and Mike shipped it Priority Mail the day we made the deal, not waiting til my funds got there. Unit was in excellent condition, perfectly working and packed with bubble and foam more than adequately. Great emails etc. I would buy from him again.

KP4HE David, honest deal, good packing
David of Orlando, FL packed his PRO III and PS125 extremely well, original box inside an outer box. Represented cosmetics and electrical condition as excellent and purchased in summer of 2009 and was "right on" with his descriptions. Good quick emails and I would purchase from him again if the need ...

Definitely one of the best hams to deal with!!
I don't normally comment unless warranted. Adam Farber is honest, straight shooting and fair. I have sold him several nice things over the years and it is to the point that I will ship to him before his money gets to me. Even expensive items. There is just a trust there and nobody should fear of any...

UPS/FedEx insurance claims
Well, the issue of denying a claim may be solved somewhat by fact that UPS and now Fed Ex have been requiring the package to be OPEN at the counter if insurance is over $300-500 or so. Then they inspect the packing and you reseal right under their noses. Then you can state "the counter agent" inspec...

equalized current paths
I only want to caution that if you parallel 2 12v supplies, make sure that 1/2 of your expected current draw does not exceed the capability of the smaller supply. IE: If you put a 20 amp supply with a 30amp companion in parallel, do not expect to run 50 amp but rather look for 40 amp as safety facto...
