Even so, perhaps the seller no longer wants to sell to/deal with annoying QTH users like us, and eliminate receiving calls from many people who ignore the word "SOLD".

What really ticks me off is when eBay sellers put in readable font in the main body of the ad that the item works perfectly fine, but then in "Seller's payment instructions" or at the bottom of the ad, they put in 8 point font 'as-is'. As if that will let them get away with lying about the item work...

Auctions and third-party "buy it over here instead" links generally do not belong on any classifieds site, and some if not most typically have a clause in the Terms of Use banning these links.
