Huh?

Why in the world you, after thousands of transactions with the public, give a person who owes you $900 from a previous "cancelled" PayPal payment an additional $900 in CASH without, first, being certain the previous PayPal transaction had been cancelled? Shouldn't "PayPal was Hacked" have waved a BI...

N0YG: Do you realize that mailing an item using "Book Rate" postage can take a very long time, perhaps a week or two? Yet you post this, declaring the seller a thief? Why...

I paid $400.00 for this tuner, it should have been like new and not worn out, I should have never had to do the fix on an item that was misrepresented in the first place... Why did you put up with the sellers bad behavior? Why did you revert to repairing it? You said you couldn't get a refund. Why ...

Re trading non-ham stuff for ham stuff...

Yes, but keep in mind the purpose of our site. Your ad should clearly indicate that you are trading your non-ham goodies for amateur radio gear and NOT trying to sell it on the site in order to buy amateur radio gear at a later time. In other words, trades for ham gear is okay.

Concerning removal of material on this Forum.

Legally, a public forum is just that, a public forum. It is kind of like the old oak tree in the middle of town. If you post anything on it, expect just about any comment, etc. you can imagine. When you post on the public QTH.com forum, you open yourself up for any and all feedback your posts genera...

I quit using UPS long ago. Their damage rate got to be over 20% so I now warn users to use FedEx or the USPS. Further, if the user insists on using UPS and the package has ANY damage on the outside, I refuse the shipment. I do not have time to deal with UPS long ineffective "claim service" process. ...

An Amp Supply linear uses two 3-500 finals with 2,700 volts plate voltage with a maximum load current of 800 mils. At full output with a CW carrier the amp produces a maximum of 1,120 watts with 80 to 100 watts of drive. Wattage output will vary with amp's age, band, line voltage, and other existing...

High power amps are nice, but...

You do not mention what antennas your are using nor what bands you are interested in "upgrading." So there is no single answer to your question. Having said this, here are some thoughts on the subject. Higher power amps are not really worth the resources needed, unless you really need a "quick fix" ...

There is nothing wrong with PayPal...

The problem is not PayPal. PayPal is what it is. One of the problems is most sellers do not take the time learn who they are dealing with, and assume everything is okay. Two suggestions: 1) Do your homework. Research your prospective buyer as carefully as you would research a seller. 2) Protect your...

I am sorry to hear of the loss of you dad. Please accept our collective condolences.

As a non ham, you may sell transmitting devices so long as it is made clear in your ads that your are selling your dad's gear and include his callsign in the ad.

Respectfully,
