MORE 2E0CJA

2E0CJA also has a Kenwood TS-570D on here for $450 SHIPPED. Scott may be out of town or something because that ad has been on here for about 24 hours and he has been notified about it.

Re: The is no need to worry about PayPal Fees!

That Method only works if you have the cash in your PayPal account. It will not work if you want to use a credit card. With this method there is absolutely no protection from PayPal for either the Buyer or Seller. Twice I have been screwed by a PayPal Dispute for pretty big bucks (over $2k both time...

Re: PayPal fees

My favorites are the guys that say: "PayPal Preferred, but you pay the fees". If the only method of payment you will accept is PayPal, then you should not expect the buyer to pay your PayPal seller's fee. A seller's fee is just that, and it against PayPal's rules to for the seller to add this fee to...

Re: beating a dead horse

Just out of curiosity have you ever dealt with Radio-mart or has he written anything about you on this forum? It seems to me whenever this topic is pretty much "status quo" somebody with very few posts comes on here and starts a new thread that tells everybody about his wonderful experience and that...

Re: beating a dead horse

Then why did Martyn have yiur IP address blocked from his site Last July? It seems to me that a good relationship wouldn't warrant that kind of action. Sometimes you cheerleaders try a little too hard. You keep saying the thread should die, but this kind of BS keeps it VERY ALIVE. isnt this guy (rad...

TROLL?

I'd say it was basically a troll post. He first posted it late last night. When he didn't get his desired results, he modified his post to explain it better with the last two lines. I don't believe he has an IC-7000 for sale either. As for him modifying his post, they used to say: If you have to exp...

C'mon Martyn

It seems to me that you tried this "if anyone has had a bad personal experience with me, post it" thing before. I know in my case you told a bunch of lies about me to retaliate and I would assume from my experience that you did the same to many others. But then again, that is not too much different ...

Bad, Bad Posters

Yes that is a bad thing. It is almost as bad a guy who uses two calls on the same forum. BTW the original post is well over two years old. Who is the accuser??? Shouldn't an Accuser have to Identify who they are? S. M. Douaihy??? That could be made up. Not a legitimate complaint if they won't identi...

Yes the Snakes are out there all the time. It is a good thing that you recognized something was wrong and researched it accordingly. Some guys on here have not been so lucky. I placed an add on QTH.com digitial/packet WTB " Microkeyer II " I recived Two responces from hams claiming to be from "G" la...

ROHN 45G Fold-Over Tower

There is a 64 ft. ROHN 45G fold-over tower on QRZ.COM right now for $700. It sounds like all it needs is the bolts, guy wire and cable for the winch. It seems like a pretty good price for a 45G;

That would work

I've seen somebody do just that. The only obstacle is getting the hinge to work correctly. I don;t think you would be able to use a regular Rohn tilt-over mount becaue it would be marginal in strength when tilting over and would probably be a pain to get to accept the tower when it is close to uprig...

Re: Tilt tower

Yes, I see that tilt-over tower that they now make. That thing has to cost a fotune as it is made from 20" heavy duty 45G and 55G secttions. Self-supporting is nice but I wonder how much wind load it will support at 60''? The older style "fold-over" towers were guyed abbout half way where the tilt s...

Re: Tilt tower

Rohn use to make a fold-over kit for both 25G and 45G towers. They were called the FOK-25 and the FOK-45. I don't believe they have been made for at least 20 years but every now and then you still see them for sale both here on QTH and also on ebay. You might try to place a "Wanted" AD here on QTH. ...
