That's too bad. I have made hundreds of deals , never been burn't yet as far as buying or swapping equipment. I even request personal checks so the sender does not have to go out of their way and usually I ship first. I always do a little research first though. When in doubt , google them. There is ...

Typical Nigeria scammers , it was on 60 minutes a few weeks ago. I get them once in a while and actually played one out to see how it works , You can read and track the story I wrote in QTH if you search for N4ATS or Nigeria (if it is still archived)

Wake up people , all you have to do is google it , example "call sign email address" and you can find just about anyones email (not all but most). A persons email address is all over the place UNLESS he kept it hidden all along which is rare. I googled his email , captured it 64 times depending on t...

I stand corrected , however that is who I use (Fedex Home Delivery) and never had issues at all with them. I ship piles of boxes with them daily. As a matter of fact , the driver gave me his cell number and I call him direct if I miss him at the door , not home , at work or whatever. He drives back ...

WOW , that’s quite unusual , I ship about 300 pieces a year, 3/4 of them FL-7000 amplifiers which weigh 68 pounds (http://n4ats.com) and never ever had a problem with FedEx Ground however I believe you in that FedEx Ground is subbed out to local drivers (independent) , you may have got someone who d...

Next time avoid all areas of concern when it comes to the shipping part . Request to the seller that he/she use Fedex Ground Home Delivery. It is half the cost and 100% safer. All corners of the box when it arrives will be as sharp as the day they were made. Three things I ALWAYS say to the seller. ...

Re: have you lost your mind????

" Ham operators are notoriously cheap however this one wins the prize.... some knucklehead thinks that his $12 order should be processed for free handled for free and shipped for $0.32 cents. Wow"

I can agree 100% on that one....This made my day.

Wake up , it is not Mousers fault. Blame that on the Gas people. $6.00 is CHEAP to get a part to you in a few days , 1,000 miles away let alone several salaries paid to get it you. The guy has to pull the parts , pack them , then a driver has to pick them up , go to a sort facitlity , get redirected...

I do not think you gave him enough time before the emails or phone calls started to roll in to him. Sometimes things come up (some in which we do not expect or have control of) , however at the same time the "seller" should let you know that the status is changing (if it does) because some people ma...

For the best delivery , use Fedex Ground Home Delivery. Most people do not see the difference. Fedex Ground trucks are purple and green and work Tuesday thru Saturday standard delivery. Regular Fedex trucks are purple and orange and work Monday thru Friday. Fedex Ground is 1/2 the cost of U.P.S. and...

Next time use FEDEX GROUND , you will get it all in tact , The box will still have sharp corners, no damage and no need to insure! (let alone it is half the cost) When will people start to figure that out?

Bought an Alpha 89 a few weeks back from W4MBD. What a guy , kept it safe for me until the Orlando Hamcation. Dilivered it to my car while I was waiting. Checked with me several times to assure everything was OK. What an amplifier. Looks like the day it was built and in its original boxes with all o...

Kenwood PS-52 Look at this link.

Please look at this eBay item I sold. Someone says its "brown" , I say it is the Kenwood Colors. Please respond if you see brown or not. I don't and I asked several others if they did. They did not. Kenwood only made "1" PS-52 , they never made a brown one. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...
