The seller seems to have a guilty conscience about NOT posting tracking numbers The whole deal sounds like a fraud.. I hope the buyer gets his money back OR his radio. Whenever i sell something on QTH i ALWAYS provide tracking numbers and I PREFER to use Paypal but a postal money order is accepted.....

N0DNR Good guy!!

I recently bought a Tempo One HF station complete with the RARE VF one VFO and an equally rare Tempo desk mic plus a "parts rig" Tempo One. The deal went very well, in fact i actually drove down to get the rigs and met N0DNR himself. Later on, i found out that the "parts rig" actually worked as well...

Or put up a totaly out of this world price and refuse to take offers. I see this on Ebay all the time. There is a Drake TR7/PS7 on Ebay for $1200.00 and the seller wont accept any offer for less money. He even says it is untested sold as is.

Re: FUNNY STUFF!

[quote="W4KVW"]What is REALLY FUNNY is the emails I get back when I tell them the CORRECT spelling of YAESU & tell them there is NO SUCH thing as a YEASU or a YASUE. They have the rig & box pictured in the ad & the word YAESU plastered all over them & they still spell it YEASU or YASUE. Some of them...

Whenever I see an add that has a bunch of spelling errors and bad punctuation, I pretty much assume the seller is a moron and move on. The poor sap probably has junk gear to sell along with his/her bad use of the English language. What i find really funny is most of, if not all of the bad spelling a...

Re: W3QE

This individual recently posted an ad on QTH for an Ameritron AL-80B. I responded to it by asking a few questions relative to age, condition, and usage prior to making a decision toward purchase. What I got back was an indignant, rude, and irrational response that displayed a great deal of animosit...

Hey Eric, Let's you and I go out for dinner. I'll buy! Let's say Friday night at 9:00pm we can sit and enjoy a nice meal together at a local steakhouse. Keep in mind, if I find something better to do instead, I won't be there and of course, I won't call to let you know either. See you there... or n...

I dont think we should go back to 1959 standards but i think we need to look into a moratorum to stop issuing new ham tickets. Or even a stop to new hams altogether until the FCC and the ARRL do something to improve things. I came from CB and i did it for years before i became a ham. I could've gott...

name calling

What about the older hams on 75 meters that hold Advanced and the holy of holy 20 WPM Extra tickets? I have listened into several QSOs that sounded worse than the trype on 11 meters and some of them have been hams for YEARS! So dont lump the no coders and the slow coders into one category. p.s. most...

is the code no code what ham radio has degraded into????
yes im a "slow code general" and yes i USE CW but i also stick up for the new hams and the no coders.
I think this post has gotten to the point of no return and needs to be closed and locked down for good!
