"Part swappers"...lol. I've bought and sold numerous ham radio items over the last 20 years and have never encountered a "parts swapper" issue.
When I place my ads, I simply state that no warranty is expressed or implied. They can swap parts all day long but it's still theirs.

I just had an excellent dealing with Dave W4DBT on an Icom IC-91A that I purchased from him and would not hesitate to do business with him again.

Re: Regarding the CONDITION of equipment for sale or trade.
"Mint" is a condition of a coin/bill. I often wondered how a piece of ham gear can be "Mint" never having even come from a mint.

Ramon waited over three hours for me to get home from work to buy one of his items which is a rarity considering all of the 'tire-kickers' out here.
EXCELLENT seller and very smooth transaction.

Don't buy Chinese
Just wait until they start selling them at Super China-Mart.
They'll sell millions, and folks could care less about needing
a license. Kinda' like what happened with the GMRS rigs.

Quit Adding "Paypal Fees" to you ad !
I agree with you Mark. First and foremost, adding a 3, 3.5, or whatever percent "Paypal Fee" is totally against Paypal's Terms of Service (TOS) that folks agreed to when they signed-up in the first place. If a merchant decided to pass along a banks typical 3.0% fee to a customer who decided to use a...

Re: To "Ad" or not to "Add"
The abbreviation for Advertisement is Ad , The word Add denotes a mathematical function where two or more items are combined. For example, "If you Add one apple to three apples the total number of apples is four apples." This means Ad and Add are not the same thing. Cheers, K4ICL Don't forget about...

If You Hear a Stateside Station Calling DX...
Although I am far from perfect, I seem to constantly hear the same thing, much to the annoyance of U.S. stations trying to work DX. If you're in the States, and you hear a U.S. station calling CQ-DX, CQ-Dog Xray, or CQ Delta Xray, that means they are looking for stations OUTSIDE of the U.S. and NOT ...

Re: PICKUP ONLY!!!
:) It never ceases to amaze me as I read the ads on this site, how many will not ship an item, but when they are looking to buy, HOW MUCH SHIPPED TO ME!!! If you truly have something that is not a shippable item, that is one thing, but so many times I see items that are easily shippable, and the mo...

Stolen: Icom IC-2200H from Watertown, New York
I had an Icom IC-2200H 2-meter amateur (ham) radio stolen from my vehicle as it was parked in my garage. Also taken was a custom made burgundy-colored wooden radio mount, and a small external speaker. If you have any info on the theft or thief, please contact Officer Cosio (?) of the Jefferson Count...
