Re: Tire Kickers
Here's the deal... When you are selling something, be prepared to deal with inquiries from people. Also do not become offended by sale negotiations. To be specific, this includes an offer placed on the table other than what you originally requested for the item. This is not unusual, in fact it shoul...

The problem with using "peanuts" alone for shipping purposes (as is often done) is they have a tendancy to shift around very easily during transport (and especially when shipping heavy items.) To demostrate this action, place an item like a large steel wrench on top of some peanuts inside a box and ...

I don't use "Fragile" but rather I prefer to place "Glass" stickers on the package. I feel this is more of a "deterrent" that a package handling reality. Besides, who want's to cut themselves while handling a package? Of course if they had a sticker option called, "Package Will Explode Violently On ...

If the item is particularly "heavy" or expensive in nature for example like an $4000.00 Alpha amplifier or if it's a heavy boatanchor like an R-390A etc., you might consider not even using a cardboard box at all. Your local army surplus store might have something like this: http://i9.ebayimg.com/06/...

An R390 A shipped inside a box full of foam peanuts. The guy didn't place the radio inside a garbage bag before placing the radio inside the box and filling it full of foam peanuts. So if anyone is familiar with all the chassis holes that are on the R 390A - you will quickly get the picture. Please ...

Tips: Pack the item fully suspended with at least 4" of "hard foam like" material around each and every corner of the item. The objective is to fully "suspend" the item inside the packaging like a carton of eggs so it doesn't have any possible opportunity to move around inside during shipping. (The ...

The high cost of shipping the package is more related to the "irregular" dimensions of the package more than anything else. You were probobly quoted an "oversized package" rate. The formula both Fedex and UPS use to determine what they term as "dimensional weight" is concluded by measuring the three...

I am not defending anyone here but why in the world would anyone purchase something on the internet without: 1. See'ing actual photographs of the item in question. (This is usually far cheaper than shipping the item across the country for inspection.) 2. Without asking any pertinant questions relate...

Re: KE5YPB Very poor dealings
Replying to someone and asking them something like "how would you like to be paid?" ...is NOT the same thing as saying - "Yes, sir I will definetly be buying your item." Personally, if I don't recieve some sort of confirmation of payment made, then a deal hasn't been struck with anyone. Then it's on...
