Amplifier System Used by anyone?

I was wondering if anyone has bought and used the UAM4SYS amplifier from Ramsey Electronics.
It looks pretty good in their catalog, but would like to know if anyone has applied it to amateur use.

Please let me know at, sparkchaser at woh.rr.com

Thanks,
Tom, N8CBC

Contained within the comments expressed here, are the reasons, whenever possible, I ship via USPS. Granted some of the real large packages might be refused, but they accept a surprising amount of weight. Are they flawless? Certainly not, but my experience has been good, and settlement of any dispute...

N4CH, A great guy to deal with

I bought a amplifier from Herman. He shipped it right away, amplifier was everything he said it was. Good communications throughout the transaction.
Definitely a +++++++ guy to deal with.

A Secret Group of Hams

:?: Somewhere out there in ham land there must be a secret group of hams that have superior knowledge and understanding. I have been around radios for more years than I can remember, thought I had a pretty fair understanding of terms, models, and abreviations. However, when I look over the postings ...

Someone help me with the math

Do we all know how EBay shipping charges are figured? I’m in Ohio, so worse case would be California, so that is how the shipping is figured. But the guy that lives in Indiana gets screwed with high shipping charges. Fast forward to QTH and the other ham sites. There is two ways to list something, 1...

Steve, W4XQ, Rose to the Challenge

I had placed an ad asking for anyone that had a small audio amplifier with a reasonable cost. I was trying to help a hearing impaired ham improve his quality of life as well as his enjoyment of ham radio. Steve seen my posting, not only did he have an amplifier that would help, but he Donated It, an...

To Buy or to Trade

As the country is further thrust into financial problems with job losses at record numbers, the once fluent ability to sell ham gear is feeling the pain. Those that are retired, with a hopefully stable income, are the ones mainly in a position to buy equipment. If this is a true observation, then why...

Beware of KD1R and VE2XB

Over the past month I have been lied to, and otherwise misled into thinking I had sold an item to Mr. Shaer, VE2XB. Since he was in Canada he had Mr. Stetson, KD1R handling the sale, monies, and shipping to avoid Duty costs going into Canada. Each week Mr Shaer would email me and tell me Mr. Stetson...

Yep, guilty as charged. I will ask the same question over and over until the seller finally answers what the condition of the item is, that he is selling.

New Scam

My recent experience may be a new scam. Has anyone else run into this. This individual put a popular radio with some accessories on QTH for sale. I responded to his posting, and we exchanged several emails over several days. He sent me a picture of the "whole package" that I was buying. After severa...

Where can I get electronic parts cheap

I have offered these two places as possible sources a few times in the past to individuals. So I thought I would just post it here for all to see. Here in the Greater Dayton Area we are blessed with two sources for inexpensive electronic parts, and surplus items for your inventive mind. You can try ...
