KC4NPD, John....Great guy to deal with!
Just completed a transaction with John. All was on the up and up. He even included extras that I hadn't asked for, but needed. Great guy.

WA8RCN, Good Guy report
I just sold a headset to Jim, WA8RCN, AND HE WAS A MAN OF HIS WORD! After a few questions, he bought my headset, sent me a personal check, which cashed, no problem, and quickly let me know that everything was good, with the sale. Thanks Jim, for being one of the good guys. I'm certain you'll be happ...

Heil Hospital
For several years, I have had a Heil "The Fin" microphone. For the past 4, or more years, it sat, idle, in the protective box, that it came in. It had been in good condition, physically and electrically, when stored. I recently moved, and in setting up the new shack, I decided to go back to this mic...

Actually, YES.
My issue isn't with Asian, or Import radios. My issue is with the currency manipulation perpetrated upon us, by the Communist Chinese government. It is why I no longer own any modern Asian made radios. If they were still made in Japan, I would have no issue. I have moved past WWII, and Japan has bec...

You might want to check the "Made In" label on those Icom radios. Modern ones, that I used to own, had the Made In China label on them. Anything from about 10 or more years ago, is likely to be Japanese manufactured, but typically most of the modern radios, from "The Big Three", are at least, in par...

Not a bad idea, except that often times one party, or the other, never realizes that a post has been made about them, and therefore doesn't respond. While this is not a bad thing, in the case of a positive feedback, nor much of a real problem, ikn the case of deserved negative feedback, when someone...

Yes, the key to this, is civility. It is not productive to insult people, regarding their perceived idea, on the value of their item for sale. Personally, if I had an interest in something, which someone is selling, but asking for too much money, I would politely offer what I believe is a reasonable...

Which, is NOT The People's Republic of China. R.O.C. is Taiwan. At least they're supposedly NOT an enemy, of the U.S. I don't believe they are our best buddies. but, they ain't Commies, either.

My philosophy on this subject.....
I TRY , as much as possible, to buy goods made in America, by Americans. But, I regretfully accept that our manufacturing base, is not what it once was. There are many ( may I be so bold as to say MOST ), things, which we need to buy, and simply are no longer produced stateside. I don't like it, but...

The answer is simple. Others, may have also had similar dealings, with one party, or the other, or contradictory dealings, and have input. The forum, is about getting the best information out there, for the perusal, and digestion, of anyone who may be contemplating a deal, with the person in questio...

I'd like to say something, without stepping on anyone's toes
I am not privy, to the inner goings on, with QTH, and I could speculate, from now, until Kingdom come. But, I will not do that I just wanted to get off my chest, that it is a travesty, that there must have been some impetus, for the feedback forum, to have been discontinued. I don't know the reason....

Sorry, not stupid, nor gullible. I just let it play out, to it's inevitable end. And if you think my name is Merle Haggard, I appreciate the compliment, but who is stupid enough to confuse a signature line, quoting a famous singer/songwriter, with the author of a BBS post? BTW-MY name was mentioned ...

Here is the text of the PayPal payment from Martyn. I will say this, WHILE I AM STILL NO FAN OF RADIO MART, IN THIS INSTANCE, HE KEPT HIS WORD. Hmmmm, I'm still waiting for that refund Martyn. Technically speaking, Goober, S.O.B., is NOT a profanity. It is an acronym, for a term, referring to being the male offspring, a canine female. i did not decline your offer, it just took you 4 years and 4 months to make the offer, and I have since sold the item. If you REALLY wanted to "Make it righ...

Marty, My dealings with you, have been well chronicled, before, and I have come to grips, that since the #1 rule in buying/selling, is Caveat Emptor, I blame myself, for WAY overpaying for the AC-4, which I bought from you. But, it was as much my fault, for not reading your feedback, before buying f...

You seemed as if you didn't understand what "Bump" meant. I simply was answering the question. Nothing more than that. Don't limit yourself. USPS Priority Mail, whether or not, you use a flat rate box, is a very good way to ship. Just don't bother with the insurance. They broke an LDG Autotuner I bought, back in April, and I am STILL waiting for them to pay. They don't seem to want to act on the issue. But they are ...
