Scammer Texting an Offer

Same old story of someone sending you a cashiers check for more than you are asking for and item... BUT THIS TIME they had the cahonies to send me a text offering to do this! Their phone number is 251-616-2367 or 2516162367. When will "they" learn that this is a new twist on a very old trick?...

Re: Lower 48 Only

Because they are naive Marty.

They don't know about a USPS Flat Rate Box. Best deal around!

I've shipped plate transformers in a flat rate box. Bolt them to a piece of wood or make a wood crate that fits inside of the flat rate box. Works perfectly!

Re: Question on vhf/uhf duplexers

For the first time, I have the need for a 144/440 duplexer for a new radio and need some information. After doing some research on the net, I have not found the answer to my question. The transceiver has one output only and is designed for use with a dual band antenna. However, I plan to use two se...

You can't pack 'em good enough to avoid shipping damage. The better you pack a rig, the HEAVIER the shipment gets AND the harder to handle it gets. I shipped a high-end commercial receiver in a wooden crate lined with FOUR INCHES of upholstery foam. The crate DOUBLED the weight of the shipment to a...

Caution! Defective 6 pin power plugs Icom, Kenwood Yaesu

Caution! I just ordered some power plugs advertised as “Fits all recent ICOM HF rigs except IC-703 and IC-7000. For IC-706, IC-718, IC-746, IC-756, etc” from an EBay seller and got a substandard item. The female pins supplied in the kit that this particular EBay seller sells are too large to snugly...
