I wonder if the 3000 replaces the FT-950 in December, does Yaesu stop supporting the FT-950 two years later?

I was thinking about $2K also. Which would be an OK price except for a few things that bother me about recent radios. 1. They are not made in Japan anymore. 2. Some manufacturers have a shorter window of support. 3. Odd-ball connectors. If they offered a two year warranty, I might go for a new impor...

I have to say that is a nice looking radio. Should be a winner for Yaesu.

Ad # 990050

Good timing on your question. The package came today with most of what i was expecting except some needed antique tubes. They would not have survived the poor packing and the parcel post handling anyway. I am going to put this whole thing in the Lesson Learned folder. The antique parts that did arri...

Ad # 990050

That ad is listing items posted previously on QRZ.com. I sent money three weeks ago. He did send a USPS tracking number for delivery May 7th.

Stay tuned.

Heads up

I recently responded to an ad on another swap site. Sent the ham a money order for the agreed amount. Since then no further communication. He has since then posted on QTH several ads for other equipment. Mostly antique radios. I am not ready to post his name or call at this time. Will give it a few ...

Good dealing with Paul, N8ITF

I recently sold Paul two old and kinda rare Lafayette radios. I usually am very careful about who I sell 40 year old equipment to. The possibility of problems is great. Pauls background in radio service eased my mind about selling to him. I would not hesitate to deal with him again. Also he does a ...

Lafayette HA-460 Six meter transceiver

I have a very clean Lafayette HA-460. It works fine and gets good signal reports. Comes with hand mic and 50.400 crystal. Any input would be appreciated. Ed WA4NJY Bradenton, Fl wa4njy@yahoo.com

Lee Pennington - Good transaction

Lee knew exactly what I wanted even though it was an odd item.
He replied with total price on first reply. Very considerate.

Not sure, but I assume the clicking is not mechanical. If the noise blanker is on, strong signals will be distorted on voice peaks. Try it with blanker off, preamps off, RF gain at mid-range. I had a 746 and now a 746PRO. Never had to use a preamp. Hope this helps. Ed WA4NJY

N2RNL Paul Lionardo

I recently contacted N2RNL about ad # 610358. Does anyone have
