WD9GMG - Doug Benedict - Good Seller and a Nice Guy

I purchased a Kessler/Palstar AT-AUTO automatic antenna tuner from Doug Benedict, WD9GMG. Everything went as smoothly as could be. The item shipped on the 27th and arrived in its original packaging on the 29th. Outstanding. All accessories, manuals, and cables were included. The item looks great. I ...

W1JHU Al Reeves

I purchased an amplifier interface cable from W1JHU, Al Reeves, and even though it was a relatively inexpensive item, I was treated to outstanding communication, and extremely expeditious shipping and delivery. The item was exactly as described and working as intended. Who could ask for anything mor...

K3WA - Bill Axelrod

Bill Axelrod, K3WA. made my dream of owning a Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1.5KFX a reality. I couldn't be happier with our transaction. Bill was forthcoming with answers to all my questions, and he even helped me track down the bandswitching cable to control the amplifier from my FTDX3000. Bill shipped the am...

I have no way of testing it, but it lit up when I turned it on.

Had to vote "mike" after researching it. "mike" appears in my late 20th century Webster's unabridged dictionary, "mic" does not. Further research online indicates that "mike", as a synonym for "microphone", has been in the vernacular since 1924. Ya learn something new every day.

Re: Out of band mods

I get your point, Dave. It overlooks at least one legitimate reason to modify a radio, however---- 60 Meters. I hate to be lumped in with freebanders, pirates, and other outlaws for having performed the modification on my own radio (Yaesu FT-920), to gain access to frequencies I am allowed to use. F...

Callsign was changed to W5TMG on 2006-11-14 which is why it appears canceled. I don't think the spam was intentional. A few years ago my email address was spoofed by spammers leading to a bunch of nasty emails from the unfortunate recipients.

I think the point the OP was trying to make is that he's done business with Mouser for many years and they just recently dropped First Class mail as a shipping option. I think I'd be a little ticked off too. Really nothing you can do other than call customer service and make an appeal that they reco...

Model transaction with this gentlemen, Tom! Items were well packed and exactly as described in his ad. We had a very pleasant chat on the telephone before closing the deal.
