KK4MEI: bad dealings

Saddens me to have to do this, but I acted in good faith all the way through and gave Christopher P. Jones KK4MEI every chance, and he took me for a $342 ride. On 5/25/2014, I responded to Chris' ad on QRZ.com (was cross posted on many sites as well) advertising a Motorola XPR3500 UHF HT. I agreed t...

Positive for AE0V Donald, an A++++ seller and a gentleman

Bought a radio advertised on QTH.com from Don, and it was as described, well packed, and delivered when promised. He always kept me informed as to the shipping status and got the radio 3 days later. Couldn't have been easier. Don't hesitate doing business with AE0V, he is one of the good guys.

Re: Compaint on radio sol 2 months ago

On 5-26-09 I sold a radio listed on QTH today 7-28-09 I was contacted saying the radio don't work and wants me to refund money or have radio repaired. The radio work as new when I shipped it. I thinks something wrong with this claim and don't i should do either. Unless the item was sold with a warr...

Re: the truth

not passing any judgment, just making a truthful observation. go through the negative feedback and look at the license class of the person in question. you will find that "techs" lead the way in complaints. i have already done this and the truth is its own defense. buying from a tech? selling to a ...

Ebay is becoming a wasteland of crap like this. Worthless sellers who pad the shipping cost then cut corners on packaging. Terry has been banned from Radio Reference, QRZ and other sites for flim-flamming people. KM4OP be lucky you got your radio, this guy is a tool and likes to jerk you around and waste your time.

I can't believe this guy is in his 50's and acts like a 16 year old. What a loser.

Your post is unseemly- you act as if you already made payment arrangements or sent Paypal, money order, etc. Fact of life is these forums, Ebay, yard sales, the car lot, etc. are all first come first served. I have sold many radios on Ebay, here, QRZ and Batlabs an...

FYI "Terry" is KA5IDD, Terry Lamb of Lowell, AR. This same guy bought an FT-90 off me a few months ago. Checked my Paypal history and there it was. So no hiding behind anonymous emails Terry- your shenanigans with all of us are out on front street.

Yep, this guy is a WAFWOT. My experience with him went as follows: I posted an selling an Icom F-4061 LMR HT on RadioReference. He responds asking if I am interested in an FT-8900 in trade. While I wasn't looking to trade, I ask him to send me pictures of the radio, ask if it has any problems, etc. ...

depends on the market but around here the HTX-242 will fetch anywhere from $65-80.

the 2800 is worth anywhere from $100-135.

you'd probably get a little more on Ebay, but then there is the cost of listing fees, final value fees, shipping and Paypal to consider.

there is also a Stolen Radio Database over at Genesis World. Most of the radios are commercial trunking radios but it would not hurt to put your stolen rigs in there too. It's free and you never know it may turn up.

that's because the MARS and CAP fall under NTIA regulation, not FCC so type certification does not apply. excellent deal with N4CBS Larry

As stated, bought a VX-177 from Larry, N4CBS. It might have well come from HRO or AES as it was new in the package. He shipped it same day payment was made, packed it well, and was excellent about communicating along the way.
Would buy from again without a doubt.
